Configure Liferay Mail with Mandrill

Mandrill : 

Mandrill is an email infrastructure service that you can use to send personalized, one-to-one e-commerce emails, or automated transactional emails.It has many features like In-depth Analytics,Templates and dynamic content,customizable sending options,etc..

Steps to configure :


Step 1:Sign up into Mandrill by providing your email address in the below link

Step 2:Click on settings 

Step 3:Create New API Key

Step 4: In liferay Control panel>Server Administration > Mail
Give your mail configuration

Here password is the API Key which you generated.

Its done!!!!!!!!!! Try sending test mail.

You can send mails programmatically from custom portlets using REST APIs.
